Wedding Service
My name is Breda Gavagan and I am an Entheos Ireland Minister / Wedding Celebrant and Registered Solemniser of Marriages. I facilitate inclusive, heartfelt, unique weddings and funeral ceremonies.
To get married in Ireland, you first need to contact the HSE on http://www.hse.ie/go/marriage/ to make a marriage notification appointment and give three months notice of your intent to get married.
Same sex marriages have been legal in the Republic of Ireland since November 2015. A referendum on 22 May 2015 amended the Constitution of Ireland to provide that marriage is recognised irrespective of the sex of the partners. Ireland was the first country in the world to legalise same sex marriages. After all Love is Love.
After meeting with you both and discussing what you want, I can then design a unique and personalised ceremony; you are free to have the ceremony of your dreams. Your love story is the beating heart of the ceremony.
The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes, depending on the readings, music and wedding enhancements chosen by you. I can help with your vows, suitable readings and music if needed.
We had such an incredible and special wedding. Breda set the tone for the day, We was dreading our love story being read out, but in the end, it was the best part of the ceremony, she made it such fun with her facial expressions and in between the laughs, you could hear a pin drop. She helped us pick out our music and readings, the guests thought we knew her for years. We would highly recommend Breda as a Celebrant.
Our ceremony was so unique and beautiful. Breda was so efficient, genuine and professional. Our family and friends have all commented on how much they enjoyed the ceremony. My mother who originally wanted us to get married in the local church was blown away with the ceremony and she cannot stop praising Breda and now she says that all weddings should be celebrant-led and personalised.
All our guests commented enthusiastically and positively about the ceremony and Breda, her warmth and laughter. She was the key to making our wedding day memorable.
